10/06/22 - Effective Monday, June 13, 2022, fully-vaccinated travellers to St Vincent & The Grenadines will no longer have to take a COVID-19 test to enter the St. Vincent & The Grenadines.
26/05/22 - Effective Wednesday, May 25, 2022, fully-vaccinated travellers to Barbados will no longer have to take a COVID-19 test to enter the country.
04/03/22 - St Vincent & the Grenadines will now accept a negative rapid antigen test result for entry done no more than 24hrs before entry for fully-vaccinated travellers. (An RT-PCR done 3 days prior to arrival is still accepted)
07/11/21 - The Hotel now has it's own PCR testing Lab (bequiapcr.com) on property and is Government authorised to PCR (& antigen) test, produce fit-to-fly certificates for international travel.
Executive Summary
Fully Vaccinated Guests / Group or Family:
- From 13th June 2022 a covid test to enter is no longer required to enter the country. There is no mandatory quarantine, nor pre-entry form.
Partially Vaccinated Group: (e.g. Parents vaccinated & kids/young adults unvaccinated)
- Accompanying persons under the age of 18 years shall follow the protocol applied to their parent or guardian
Un-Vaccinated Guests:
- A negative rapid antigen test result for entry done no more than 24hrs before entry is required or an RT-PCR test done 3 days prior to arrival
- An ‘On-Arrival’ Rapid antigen test (USD 50.00 pp) will be arranged and conducted by a nurse at the hotel, and is required to enter into Phase 2.
- Phase 1: Restricted to stay within your room.
- Phase 2: After a negative 'On-Arrival' test result; remain on the Hotel property, Beach, Gardens, Pool, Bar, Restaurant and Spa now available. The nurse will perform a further test between day 5
- Phase 3: After a negative 'Day 5' test result, guests can participate in activities or approved tours such as diving, snorkelling, island tours and dine in selected restaurants. Jack's Beach Bar available.

Bequia Beach Hotel looks forward to safely welcoming guests to our sunny little island, a few things might be a little different to our many repeat guests including exciting property upgrades but we are confident that our new protocols will ensure the same high level standards and safe hospitality. The Hotel also has it's own PCR testing Lab (bequiapcr.com) on property and is Government authorised to PCR (& antigen) test, produce fit-to-fly certificates for international travel.
Pre-Arrival Checklist
• Unvaccinated guests require a Negative COVID-19 Test certificate (Within 3 days of arrival if RT-PCR test, or 24 hours if rapid antigen test)
• Proof of full Covid-19 Vaccination if applicable
Arrival
• Upon landing at Bequia airport, a nurse may be present and assist in the compulsory health assessment prior to immigration & customs
• You will be met & greeted by our staff at Bequia airport and escorted to the hotel
For arrivals to St. Vincent airport, please contact us and our team will assist with transportation to take the ferry to Bequia.~~~
Fully Vaccinated Guests / Group
• Classified as guests with evidence of full vaccination (at least 2 weeks after the final dose) with a vaccine recognised by the Ministry of Health
• An ‘On-Arrival’ Rapid test is NOT needed. There is NO mandatory quarantine.
• Negative PCR test or rapid antigen test is NOT required prior to arrival (effective 13 June 2022)
• Proof of full vaccination is required
Partially Vaccinated Group: (e.g. Parents vaccinated & kids unvaccinated)
• Accompanying unvaccinated persons under the age of 18 shall follow the protocol applied to their parent or guardian. Unvaccinated persons over 18 years may undergo an ‘On-Arrival’ Rapid test (USD 50.00 pp) will be arranged and conducted by a nurse at the hotel when you arrive.
• Once negative results return within 20 minutes for your travel bubble, you will be immediately discharged and no need to quarantine; free to enjoy the hotel & island.

Requirements for unvaccinated guests
Phase 1:
(Note: The following approved bubble resort protocols are specifically for Bequia Beach Hotel only)
• You and others in your personal bubble must remain in your designated room.
• In-Room dining service will be available for meals, drinks, special requests
Please note, the 'On-Arrival' Rapid test if valid, will produce results in 15-25 minutes. Once you and your bubble are negative, you will immediately transition to Phase 2.
Phase 2:
An ‘On-Arrival’ Rapid test taken at the hotel is required to enter into Phase 2.
- You and others in your personal bubble must remain on the Hotel property.
- We can now welcome you to the Beach, Gardens, Pool, Bar, Restaurants and Spa & Gym
On Day 5 guests may be re-tested, once you & your bubble’s negative ‘Day 5’ test results are confirmed to us, you will enter into Phase 3.
Phase 3:
• Once Day 5 test results return negative, guests can explore the island, participate in activities or tours such as diving, snorkelling, island tours and dine in selected restaurants. Please contact Guest Services to advise and arrange accordingly.
• Our sister restaurant Jack’s Beach Bar on Princess Margaret Beach will be available. Guests are asked to remain in their bubble whilst enjoying the beach.
• Land tours will be conducted with approved open-back taxis and are asked to wear their mask throughout the trip.
• Within public areas, please use precaution, feel free to use a face mask/covering if you wish and hand sanitisation provided
• Face masks/coverings will not be required

Guest Departure Process
• If a further PCR / antigen test is required for transit on your return journey the hotel will be happy to arrange this in the comfort of the Hotel.
• A PCR test or antigen test (swab) can now be conducted by our trained and Government authorised lab on property [BequiaPCR.com] which will also provide you with a fit-to-fly certificate.
