COVID-19 Update – 21st March 2020
We wish to advise and bring to your immediate attention the following new quarantine measures that are coming into effect:
The Government of St Vincent & The Grenadines announced new measures effective as of 6:00 am Monday 23rd March 2020 all visitors arriving from the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days.
The Government of Barbados also announced that, from Sunday 22 March, all visitors arriving from the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States will be placed in quarantine for 14 days, regardless of if they are showing any symptoms of COVID-19. Anyone arriving with a travel history from China, Iran, and South Korea are also subjected to a 14 day quarantine. [https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/barbados]
In light of the St Vincent & The Grenadines and the Government of Barbados’ actions in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic we are focused more than ever on the health and wellbeing of all of our guests and employees.
Accordingly we must advise you that if you are travelling on or after Sunday 22nd March 2020 to Bequia through Barbados that you may not be allowed nor able to reach Bequia.
For arriving guests from UK, Europe and the USA to St Vincent & The Grenadines an immediate 14-day period of self-quarantine has been enforced.
Therefore we strongly advise you to postpone or cancel any imminent trip to safeguard from mandatory quarantine in Barbados and/or St Vincent & The Grenadines.
